With this app, administrators can enable the Custom Discount option from the Odoo backend under the POS settings. This empowers cashiers or sales staff to either apply predefined discounts to selected order lines or the entire order, or create new custom discounts instantly during checkout. The process is straightforward: after selecting products in the POS cart, the cashier can open the discount dialog to choose from available offers or click on the Custom Discount button to create a new one. The system prompts the user to enter a discount percentage and a reason, ensuring that every custom discount is not only applied correctly but also documented for transparency. Discounts can be applied to individual items (Selected Line) or the entire order (All Line). This ensures maximum flexibility, whether the business wants to promote specific products or reward loyal customers with special order-wide deals.
